A triple homicide Christmas morning in Cullom now has authorities identifying the victims. Livingston County Sheriff’s Police are working with State Police, the Coroner’s Office and State’s Attorney’s Office in the ongoing investigation.
There’s been no announced motive for the murders of the three murders.
Emergency responders were called to the 400 block of East Jackson Street in the small town of 550 for reports of a homicide. Police found 48-year-old Sherley Brewer, 51-year-old Norman Walker, and 27-year-old Christian Brewer dead. County Coroner Danny Watson confirms Shirley is the suspect’s wife; Christian is the suspect’s son.
State Police identified the suspect as 53-year-old Clifford W. Brewer of Cullom. He was arrested and charged by the Livingston County State’s Attorney’s Office on three counts of first-degree murder.
Livingston County Sheriff Tony Childress said the case appeared to be an isolated incident and that there was no immediate threat to the community.
Brewer was confined at the Livingston County Jail, pending a bond hearing set for Friday.
