The candidates for Vermilion County Auditor and Coroner, along with those running for the 52nd State Senate seat, answered questions and talked about issues at a forum at Danville Area Community College Monday night.

The forum was sponsored by the Business Women of Vermilion County, DACC Annuitants Association, Danville Public Library and the Executive Club.

Auditor Linda Lucas-Anstey, challenger Bill Wright each answered questions in the forum.

The candidates coroner included current deputy-coroner Steve Cornett, who’s also Tilton Police Chief, and Jayne McFadden, currently Commander of the Danville Police Criminal Investigation Division. Current Coroner Peggy Johnson is not seeking re-election.

State Senator Scott Bennett and his challenger, Michael Madigan, also participated.
