A 34-year-old Danville man died of a single gunshot to his back Sunday.  Matthew Huerta was identified today (Tuesday) by Coroner Jane McFadden after his famil;y was notified.  Officers responded to the 600-block of Plum Street where the victim was found laying in the street.  he died at a local hospital.  Polcie reported a gunman fired a single shot then fled in a vehicle.  Vermilion County Crime Stoppers welcomes any info the public may have about the incident.  217-446-8477.
