Sixty-one year-old Travis VanNote Sr. was given a life sentence in prison for molesting two children, one being his step-grandchild.   In Vermilion County Court Thursday, VanNote pleaded guilty to two offenses of predatory criminal sexual assault of a child. The life term was imposed because more than one victim was involved in the case. State's Attorney Jacqueline Lacy said VanNote was married to the grandmother of one of the victims at the time of the crime.  The prosecutor agreed to dismiss eight other counts of predatory criminal sexual assault as part of the plea agreement.
