Citizens in Watseka gathered this (Thursday) morning for the National Day of Prayer.  Church leaders joined officials at Iroquois Memorial Hospital for a brief ceremony at the IMH Flagpole.  American Legion Post 23 presented the colors and raised the flag to mark the occasion. The national event was first proclaimed in 1952.  This year's theme:  "Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is Liberty,"  Corinthians 3:17
