Champaign authorities hope an autopsy and forensic pathology will lead to the identification of a body recovered from Clinton Lake Sunday. Meanwhile, police say the case of a young woman missing for nearly a week has shifted from from ''disappearance to a death investigation.''

Authorities say information developed in the missing person case involving Gibson directed Champaign Police Detectives to an exploratory search of evidence at Clinton Lake, which is located in DeWitt.
