U.S. Route 45/52 at St. George Road will be bottled up beginning Monday where road construction will be underway from Armour Road north.

The northbound traffic will be effected. It's where workers left off last fall, when the construction season was winding down.

A two-mile stretch from Armour Road to St. George Road will include periodic shutdowns. Driver are urged to pay attention to flaggers and posted signs.

Bourbonnais Mayor Paul Schore reports the construction will last about 8 weeks.

The $1.3 million project is funded through the Illinois Department of Transportation.
