The Jasper County, Indiana Sheriff’s Department reports the arrest of a Demotte man for possession of cocaine. The arrest comes after an investigation of 53-year-old Ted Poxon receiving narcotics in the mail.

A report of a suspicious package addressed to Poxon alerted authorities. Police said a narcotics K-9 flagged the package.

Poxon was arrested when he arrived to pick up the delivery.
