A dense fog blanketed most all of central Illinois and northern Indiana this (Thursday) morning.  The fog forced delays and then closings for Indiana school districts.  The Benton School Corporation, South Newton and Renssalaer Central all started the day with 2-hour delays then E-Learning Days were put in place for Benton and South Newton.

 Dense Fog Advisory was issued until 9 am by the NWS. Hazardous driving conditions were reported due to low visibility.
