Disaster Recovery help offered in Benton County

The state of Indiana and the Federal Emergency Management  Agency (FEMA) opened a Disaster Recovery Center in Benton County and other surrounding counties.  The centers are to offer storm victims assistance in their recovery from storm weather in late March thru April 1.  Tornado damage was verified in several counties.

Recovery specialists from FEMA, the State and the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) will set up shop at the centers to help with FEMA applications, answer questions and provide resource info. 

Visitors can stop at the Benton County Annex...410 S. Adeway Rd... Fowler, IN 47944  Center Hours May 4 and 5 are 8 am'til 5 pm.

Additional recovery centers are open in impacted areas including Clinton, Grant, Howard, Johnson, Lake, Monroe, Morgan, Owen, Sullivan and White Counties.  The deadline to apply for federal assistance in June 14, 2023.  Find more help at www.fema.gov/drc
