Illinois State Police will focus their attention on the primary factors that contribute to fatal traffic crashes as troopers emphasize safety and responsible driving during Labor Day. District 21 Commander, Captain Don Aaron Harsy wants drivers to celebrate responsibly.  The Fatal Four violations are tops on the priority list --- DUI, speeding, distracted driving and seat belt use.

IDOT is also suspending construction work to minimize congestion durign the long holiday period.
