50-year-old Joseph Cannon of Hoopeston faces charges of aggravated battery and criminal damage to property.  Hoopeston Police report officers were called to the 700-block of N. 7th Street (Saturday) for a domestic disturbance.  The arrest has Caoon being arrainged in Danville.

A traffic stop in Hoopeston led to the arrest of a Rantoul man.  22-year-old Justin Shields is charged with possession of a controlled substance.
