A new school superintendent will be in place for the start of the new school year at Donovan. The Unit #3 school board has announced the hiring of Toby Coates to replace Steve Westrick, who said he's exploring other opportunities.  Coates will serve as Unit #3 Superintendent and Elementary Principal.  Coates come to Donovan from Ottawa (IL), where he served at Wallace Elementary School.

Donovan canvassed the April 2 election results, seating new board members Brian Gouwen and Chris Brown.  Joe Schultz will continue as board president.
