Two people in a pick-up truck were killed (Thursday) when their vehicle collided with a semi near the Iroquois-Kankakee County line. Both victims were pronounced dead at Route 45/52 at Kankakee County 8500 S. Illinois State Police investigated at 6 pm.

Police report the victims’ pick-up truck was westbound on 8000 S and failed to yield at the stop intersection, colliding with the northbound semi. The semi driver, from Kankakee, was also treated for injuries. The Kankakee County Coroner’s pronounced the two victims dead at the scene.
