The historic Dixie Highway is hosting the annual ‘Drivin’ the Dixie’ car show this weekend. Car, truck and motorcycle enthusiasts will make their way up and down Illinois Route 1 from Danville to Momence. There are several scheduled stops in between.

Entertainment is also provided at Island Park in Momence.
Registration is free. It starts at 9 a.m. in the parking lot of the Danville Municipal Building, 17 W. Main St. People can also pre-register by going online to vermilioncountymuseum.org

Sponsors include Lithgow Automotive, Clark's Garage and Todd's Auto Body. Businesses and organizations serving as passport stops include Berry's Garden Center and Floral Shop in Danville; the Bismarck Lucky Clover 4-H Concession Stand at Bismarck's Men's Club; and Casey's gas stations in Rossville, Hoopeston, Milford and Watseka.
