Today (Sat) is the National Drug Take Back Day. Citizens are encouraged to get rid of any outdated, unwanted, unused prescription medicines that might be in your homes.

You can dispose of the meds....with no questions asked....by visiting any of several drop-off sites. Several police agencies / fire departments will accept the medicines.

The Iroquois County Sheriff’s Department is one of the drop-off sites. Visit the County Jail entrance in Watseka between the hours of 8 am and 2 pm.

The Northfield Square Mall in Bradley also welcomes the disposal from 10 am ‘til 2 pm.
