Officials in Kankakee and Vermilion County are teaming up with the federal Drug Enforcement Administration to collect those unwanted or used prescription medicines you may have around your homes.
Scheduled 'Drug Take-Back Day' is Saturday (April 30).
Any expired, unused, and unwanted prescription drugs can be dropped off – no questions asked. Sheriff's deputies will be on hand to accept the drugs. The service is free and anonymous and will take place from 10 am until 2 pm. Drop-off sites are at Northfield Square Mall in Bradley and the Vermilion County Courthouse in Danville.
