The village of Dwight is offering an additional $5,000 reward for information in the June 14 shooting that left two women dead and a man injured. The reward purse is now at $10,000.
60-year-old Donna Denker and her daughter, 30-year-old Kelli L. Denker were killed at their home at 200 W. North St. A 23-year-old man whose identity has not been disclosed also was shot. He is recovering.
Several local and state police agencies are involved in the investigation, but no arrests have been made.
The Village Board voted Monday to offer a $5,000 reward after Grundy County Crime Stoppers last week offered a reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest and criminal charges in the case.
Anyone with information about the crime should call the Dwight Police Department at 815-584-1975 or Grundy County Crime Stoppers at 815-942-9667. Callers may remain anonymous.
