Three individuals face drug charges after a traffic stop in Dwight . The Dwight Narcotics Unit arrested 25-year-old Josh Newell and 21-year-old Sarah Hansen, both of Dwight. Both were wanted on Livingston County warrants. Also arrested with them was 40-yr-old Dwayne Askew of Chicago.

Several traffic violations occurred, leading to the stop (Wednesday). A K-9 dog with the Livingston County Sheriff’s Department was called to the scene and detected the smell of drugs.

Thirty bags of crack cocaine, drug paraphernalia, US currency, and several Xanax pills were allegedly found in the vehicle.

All three individuals were charged with Class 4 felonies of two-counts of unlawful possession of a controlled substance. All three individuals remain in the Livingston County Jail.
