Dwight woman dies in house fire

A 58-year-old Dwight woman died in a house fire Thursday morning. The cause of the fire that killed Patricia Bonora was under investigation.

She was pronounced dead at 7:55 am at the scene, according to Livingston County Coroner Michael Burke.

Dwight Deputy Fire Chief Justin Dyer said the department was called to 115 W. Chippewa Street around 6:30 am. Dyer said first-responders were advised that there was a possible victim inside the house. She was located, but there were no signs of life.

The Illinois State Fire Marshal, MABAS Division 15 investigators and the Livingston County Coroner's office are all involved in the investigation.

Two other people were treated at the scene. There were no firefighters injured.
