Students at Bradley-Bourbonnais High School won't be back in class until January following a Wednesday night fire in the school's laundry room. The school went on an early holiday break and postponed Fall semester final exams.
Classes were cancelled Thursday and Friday. Superintendent Scott Wakeley said extensive smoke and water damage needs to be cleaned up. Power also needs to be restored.
There was no injury. A few students were evacuated from the building Wednesday night.
School is scheduled to resume January 8th.
