The East Central Illinois Community Action Agency has announced that energy assistance is available for senior citizens and others who qualify. The Agency will take appointments for qualified households on a first-come, first-serve basis at 217-443-2705 starting on Tuesday, September 3rd, 2013.

Only senior citizens and individuals with disabilities, and those whose power source has been disconnected, are eligible to apply.

Proof of income is required.

Applications will be taken until all funds are exhausted. Benefits are paid directly to the household's utility provider.
