Wilmington Police report a former High School teacher and girls basketball coach has been arrested "for engaging in inappropriate activities with an underage student."

27-year-old Jonathan Lewis Jr. of Naperville, faces several counts of criminal sexual abuse and child pornography. His bond was set at $1 million.

Police said in a press release Wilmington School District officials took necessary action to make sure Lewis would not have any contact with students. He resigned shortly thereafter that. The alleged crimes took place between March and October of 2014. He is being held at the Will County Jail in Joliet.
