There's 71 county fair queens in Springfield for the Illinois Association of Agricultural Fairs State Competition this weekend.  The preliminary competion begins today with speech competition,  stage presence and beauty will be judged with the winner named Sunday.  The new State Fair Queen will host the summer Illinois State Fair and the DuQuoine State Fair. 

Representing the Iroquois County Fair is Erin Anderson of Rankin.  Jolee Hastings of Loda is the current Ford County Fair Queen while Erica Johnson of Mahomet is the Champaign County Fair Queen.  The state competition is at Crowne Plaza Convention Center.
