A Livingston County business theft case finds one two two individuals sentenced to local jail time. 47-year-old Thomas Chambers of Fairbury pled guilty to Theft between $10,000 and $100,000. He was sentenced to two years probation for the class two felony. He'll also serve 180 days in the County Jail, pay a $25,000 fine and pay court fees. 47-year-old Amber Chambers is facing similiar charges.
The Fairbury Police Department reported Thomas and Amber Chambers are accused of stealing money from a business in Fairbury between 2020 and 2021. Both worked at the business, and the victim was over 65-years-old. Amber pleaded not guilty and is due back in court.
