The Illinois Farm Bureau says word that there’s an agreement in principle on a new farm bill in congress is a welcome relief for Illinois’ agriculture community. Members of a conference committee in congress have been working for months to bring different House and Senate versions together. It could be agreed upon and signed into law before the end of the year.
