An unidentified Illinois man died in a car crash this (Friday) morning in Newton County, IN. Sheriff’s Police responded to a report of car in a field at State Road 10 near County Road 1050N at 9:15 am.

The investigation showed the car left the north side of the roadway for unknown reasons causing the vehicle to become air-born and the driver to become partially ejected. The driver of the vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene. No other vehicles were involved. Police said alcohol is not believed to be a factor in this crash.
