A North Chicago man was killed and two others seriously injured this (Monday) morning in a single-vehicle crash on I-57 in Iroquois County.  The yet-unidentified victim was the driver of a suburban that left the roadway, entered the median and rolled several times before landing upright in the median.  State Police reported one passenger was ejected.  Two passengers were takan to hospitals, one with life-threatening injuries.

ISP reported the accident happened about 8:20 am near mile post 267.  I-57 traffic was limited for over an hour during the investigation.  The Interstate wasn't open in all lanes until just before Noon.
