A Kentland, IN man died of injuries from a single-vehicle traffic mishap over the weekend.  The 35-year-old was reported to be eastbound on U.S. Route 24 at State Road 55 Saturday evening.  Newton County Sheriff's Police reported responding to s car in a ditch with its hazard lights on.  The investigation showed the driver left the road for some unknown reason and hit a culvert before coming to rest in the intersection. 

Police report CPR was administered at the scene, but the driver died on injuries at Riverside Hospital.  The accident happened just before 8 pm.
