A Fair Oaks, IN man died in a single-car crash Monday evening in Newton County.  Sheriff's Police investigated just before 7:30 at 600 E near 900 N Road.  A 19-year-old driver lost control of his sports car before the vehicle hit a culvert and rolled several times. The victim wasn't identified. 

Police reports stated witnesses observed the vehicle at a high rate of speed, passing other vehciles without lights on.  The driver made a sudden lane chane to avoid an oncoming vehicle.  That's when the victim's car left the roadway.  Several emergency responders were on the scene.
