Livingston County authorities, working with LaSalle County, say three people are in custody after a fatal shooting in Streator Tuesday night.

A 33-year-old female was shot and killed in the 200 block of West 9th Street in Streator around 9 pm. The victim is now identified as Maria Delatorre.

Police report two black males and a black female are in custody after a crash early Wednesday in Dwight. The suspects were involved in a chase with a Livingston County Sheriff deputy after the suspect-vehicle was spotted at a high rate of speed.

The chase ended with the crash near Route 66 and Route 17 near Dwight.

One individual was arrested shortly afterwards, while the other suspects were apprehended early Wednesday morning.

Illinois State Police along with LaSalle and Livingston County authorities are investigating.
