Two armed men robbed the US Bank in Wilmington Saturday. Wilmington Police and the FBI are investigating the 10 am incident. According to witnesses two black men displayed handguns and demanded money, escaping with an unknown amount of currency.

The two fled in a late-model silver Ford Mustang. A Channahon police officer saw the vehicle but lost sight of it on Route 6 near I-55. Joliet Police found the vehicle abandoned.

Nobody was injured during the robbery.
