A Fed-Ex truck driver was taken to Iroquois Memorial Hospital in Watseka today after a crash on northbound I-57. Illinois State police investigated near Onarga just before 5 am.

56-year-old Paul Williams of Sugar Grove (IL) was alone in the tractor with a double bottom trailer. Police reported the FedEx truck was traveling northbound on Interstate 57 at milepost 277. The FedEx semi ran off the roadway striking a guardrail. The driver then overcorrected, ran off the roadway, and overturned in a field to the east of the interstate.

Charges were pending.
