Three Tri-Point High School FFA members have earned Illinois State FFA Proficiency honors. Kendall Wills, Kyle Robinson and Brandon Ifft recently were selected as FFA Proficiency winners.
Diana Loschen is their agriculture teacher and FFA adviser.
Receiving the state proficiency honor makes the students eligible to compete in the National FFA Awards Selection process in July.
Illinois FFA recognizes students in 52 areas based on their work-based learning — also known as supervised agriculture experience. FFA members who demonstrate outstanding agricultural skills and competencies through record keeping, leadership, and scholastic achievement may be considered for this award.
The winners were selected by a committee of agriculture industry representatives and teachers knowledgeable in this work-based area.
