An Open House and ribbon-cutting event today (Sat) features the Fire Training Center on the west edge of Watseka.

The Watseka Area Firefighters Association invites the public and business-community to see what the training center is all about. Already in use, several area fire departments and fire protection districts are welcome to use the facility. It's adaptable for several scenarios that firefighters may experience.

Refreshments will be available for today's Open House and Grand Opening.

The Watseka Area Chamber of Commerce extends an invite for today's ribbon-cutting at 11 am.
