The National Weather Service has posted a flood watch for most of East Central Illinois. It runs from this (Monday) evening through Tuesday night.
The rain will combine with the rapid melting of a very wet snow pack. The Champaign and Vermilion County area received several inches of new snow Saturday.
Other parts of the WGFA-WIBK listening area area received in excess of two-inches of rain last weekend, resulting in a saturated ground. The amount of rain and the saturated ground prompts flooding concerns.
