Ford County cases of 3 terror suspects moved to Minnesota

Three members of a Ford County militia group accused of bombing a Minnesota mosque will have their federal cases consolidated for trial in Minnesota.

The News-Gazette reports Michael Hari, Michael McWhorter and Joe Morris were arrested in March in connection with last year's explosion at an Islamic Center in Bloomington, Minnesota. No one was injured in the attack.

The men face federal hate crime charges. After their arrests, authorities say McWhorter told FBI agents that they wanted to scare Muslims out of the country.

They're also charged with federal crimes in Illinois, including the attempted bombing of a women's health clinic in Champaign.

The Star Tribune reports Morris pleaded not guilty Tuesday in federal court in St. Paul. Court records show McWhorter plans to plead guilty.

The fourth man charged, Ellis Mack, already pleaded guilty in Illinois to acts not related to the bombing or attempted bombing.
