The Ford County Board’s zoning committee is meeting today (Tuesday) with hope that proposed revisions to the county’s ordinance regulating wind farms will be approved.

Decommissioning requirements for wind operations were OK’d at a May 10th meeting. Talks about minimum setbacks, maximum turbine height and noise limits are expected at today’s meeting.

If all goes well, the county’s zoning board and planning commission could soon have a proposed draft of the agreement. It would then advance to the full county board.
