18-year-old Carly James of Demotte is the new 2021 Punkin Vine Fair Queen.  She was crowned Monday evening at the Newton County Fairgrounds north of Kentland.

Carly is the daughter of Cary & Gayle James.  She's a freshman at Dordt University where she's pursuing ma nursing degree.   She will reign over the fair this week and compete at the state level.  Hannah Vanderwall of Brook was named 1st runner-up.   Miss Teen was Alexxys Standish.
