4-H activities are on today's (Monday) agenda at the 2023 Ford County Fair at Melvin.  Several 4-H events feature the youth projects. The fair runs through July 1.  The traditional event has been bringing entertainment to central Illinois since 1926.

The Fair Queen Pageant is the big attraction this (Monday) evening at the dance building beginning at 7 pm.  Four contestants seek the queen's crown.  The reigning queen, Gracelyn Greenburg, will crown her successor. 

The Little Mister and Miss Pageant is Tuesday at 5:30 pm in the dance building.  The Talent Show follows at 6: 30 pm.

WGFA's 94.1 fair broadcasts are Wednesday 11 am - 1 pm and Friday 6-8 pm.
