The Ford County Public Health Department's financial heartbeat apprears to be OK, even under the crunch of the state's budget impasse. Administrator Lana Sample told the County Board her agency remains financially "OK" and will be able to maintain operations for the rest of the year even if state reimbursements don't arrive. Sample said she is trying to cut costs anywhere she can, including not filling two vacated positions.
