The Ford County Fair at Melvin is underway.  Activities, including 4-H judging began Sunday.  The queen pageant this (Monday) evening features four contestants.  The 7pm event is in the dance building.

19-year-old Jolee Hastings of Loda, 18-year-old Lyndi Allen of Paxton, 20-year-old Kassidy Marshall of Paxton and 16-year-old Tabitha JaBaay of Piper City will seek the crown.  Reigning queen Evie Ellis of Paxton will crown her successor.  

The Talent Show is in the dance building Tuesday evening at 6:30 pm.  The fair runs thru Saturday, June 19.
