An attack on a woman in Paxton last year now finds a man headed to prison for 15 years. 52-year-old Arturo Crawford was sentenced in Ford County Court. He was convicted in January of Aggravated Domestic Battery, Unlawful Restraint, and Criminal Sexual Assault. Prosecutors say the offense happened last Labor Day weekend.

The attacks on the woman started on a Friday. The victim was able to escape when Crawford fell asleep. The woman sought help from a neighbor. The victim was treated for several injuries, including a concussion.
