Ford County citizens should have their 2020 property tax bills in hand.  Statements were mailed out last Friday (May 28). Treasurer Krisha Shoemaker said the first installment comes due Friday, July 2.  The recent mailing finds 10,340 real estate tax bills having been delivered to the Ford County property owners.  The second installment will be due Friday, September 10.   According to state statute,  any late payments are assessed a 1.5 percent penalty per month. Questions can be directed to the County Treasure's Office.
