37-year-old Paul Theesfeld gets a 12 year prison term for a plan to kidnap and sexually assault a woman.
The 2020 Ford County case involved Theesfield’s plan to assault a Gibson City woman after running her over with his vehicle to knock her unconscious. The plan’ according to court documents, was to knock the woman out, then put her in his vehicle to drive her to another location. However the plan went bad when the woman wasn’t knocked unconscious and she started screaming for help. Theesfield then drove off. He was arrested later.
Theesfield had been employed as a Water Department Superintendent in the towns of Elliott and Roberts.
