The Ford County Board is leaning toward the hiring of two more employees – one in the Treasurer’s office and another in the Public Health Department.

A nursing position is expected to be vacant in the health department. Health Department Administrator Lana Sample told the Finance committee the candidate could by either an RN or a Licensed-Practical Nurse.

The County Board is also expected to OK a recommendation for Treasurer Krisha Shoemaker to hire a part-time deputy-treasurer.
