Several donated items brought positive financial gains for the many 4-Hers in Ford and Iroquois Counties Sunday. The Annual 4-H Foundation auction in Woodworth raised monies for annual fees and scholarships for young people in the two-county area. Individuals and businesses played a part in a dinner and the auction.
"There were so many great items donated for the auction and so many people helped," Angela Wagner of the Ford- Iroquois Extension said. "And the proceeds helped so many of our 4-H members. A big thank you to everyone."
Six-hundred plus youngsters participate in some 25 4-H clubs in Ford and Iroquois County. And more than 300 men and women serve in supervisory positions, making each of the 4-H clubs successful.
