The National Weather Service has issued another winter weather advisory. Ford and Iroquois counties are included. The advisory kicks in around noon today (Tuesday) and runs until 9 pm.

Freezing rain is expected...with total ice accumulations of around one-tenth of an inch expected. Expect slippery roads as a result of the ice. Motorists are advised to slow down while driving and be ready for changing road conditions.

Drivers have reported very slick conditions this morning. Drifting snow continues to pose poor conditions throughout Illiana.
