A former Braidwood high school teacher accused of having sex with a 14-year-old is now facing charges in U.S. District Court. Dayna Chidester was arrested for sexual abuse of a minor. She was arrested Wednesday by FBI agents for allegedly having sex with the underage boy on several occasions in 2018. The 51-year-old Chidester is a former science teacher at Reed-Custer High School in Braidwood.
