Forrest Drug Case: Police seize heroin, syringes

Two Livingston County residents face drugs charges after police served a warrant in Forrest (Thursday). 30-year-old Jessica Croegaert and 62-year-old Steven Croegaert are charged with the Unlawful Possession of Heroin, Unlawful Possession of Hypodermic Syringes and Endangering the Life or Health of a Child.

The Fairbury Police Department executed the warrant and found four grams of heroin with fentanyl and 165 used and unused hypodermic syringes.

Both of the Forrest individuals were taken to the Livingston County Jail. The Fairbury Police Department was assisted by the Pontiac Police Department, Livingston County Sheriff’s Office, and Dwight Police Department.
